CROWDWRANGLER TERMS OF SERVICE
Version and effective date: 16 August 2026
These Terms of Service (the Terms) are an agreement between you and IPEVENTS LIMITED, the company that operates CrowdWrangler (we, us or CrowdWrangler). They apply to the CrowdWrangler website, web app, mobile apps and related services (together, the Service).
Please read these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. If you do not agree to the current policy bundle, do not create or continue using an account.
1. What CrowdWrangler Does
CrowdWrangler helps real-world clubs, groups and families organise memberships, events, attendance, announcements, questions and related Family activity. It is a coordination service. It is not an emergency, medical, safeguarding, personal-welfare or specialist-help service.
The core Service is free at launch. CrowdWrangler does not currently charge subscription, transaction or payment-processing fees. If paid features are introduced later, we will provide the relevant price and additional terms before anyone is charged.
2. Who May Use The Service
You must be at least 13 to create and sign in to a CrowdWrangler account. We use an age range rather than asking for a date of birth. If the registration process shows that you are under 13, no sign-in account is activated.
An eligible adult Family manager may create a managed child profile for a child under 13. A managed child profile cannot sign in and is administered through the Family features. It is not an account belonging to the child.
Some public-event guest actions are available only to a person who confirms that they are 18 or over. That confirmation applies only to the guest action and does not become age evidence for a later account.
You may use the Service only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms. If you use it for a club or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation where your action requires that authority.
3. Accounts And Security
You must provide accurate information, keep it reasonably current and use your own account. Do not share sign-in credentials or allow another person to impersonate you. Keep your device and authentication method secure and tell us at support@crowdwrangler.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Authentication is provided through supported external sign-in providers. You must also follow the provider's terms. Email/password accounts may need to verify their email address before normal Service access is enabled.
We may require recent authentication for sensitive actions, such as changing age information, linking a sign-in provider or deleting an account.
4. Crowds, Roles And Family Features
A Crowd is a club or group space. Crowd owners and administrators can set membership, audience, event and communication rules within the controls the Service provides. They are responsible for using those controls fairly and lawfully. CrowdWrangler does not appoint them as our agent and does not verify that they hold any professional, safeguarding or other external qualification.
Crowd roles may allow a person to invite or remove members, administer groups, create events, review applications, publish communications or view audit information. Do not use a role beyond the authority the relevant Crowd has given you.
Family membership, Family-manager status and responsible-adult relationships are product permissions. CrowdWrangler does not verify parenthood, guardianship or other legal authority merely because people accept a Family relationship. Family visibility and authority to act are separate settings. A person must not use delegated access to control, mislead or impersonate somebody else.
Teen accounts receive age-appropriate restrictions. These can include limits on adult-only Crowds, Crowd administration, direct contact, precise device location, payments and optional telemetry. Some Crowd or event actions may need approval from an accepted responsible adult. A linked adult does not receive unrestricted access to a teenager's account or private activity.
5. Your Content
You keep any intellectual-property rights you have in names, messages, images, event information, form responses and other content you submit (Your Content).
You give CrowdWrangler a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, adapt for technical presentation, display and transmit Your Content only as reasonably needed to:
- operate and secure the Service;
- show it to people authorised by the relevant Crowd, Family or public setting;
- provide notifications and requested exports;
- moderate, investigate and respond to reports; and
- comply with law and enforce these Terms.
This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except for temporary backup copies, content-free structural placeholders, or restricted evidence that must remain for the periods explained in the Privacy Policy.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit Your Content. Do not submit another person's confidential information without a lawful reason and appropriate permission. Crowd organisers must ask only for information that is genuinely necessary for membership or event administration. Never request or submit passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details, bank credentials, identity-document copies or similarly high-risk information through ordinary Service fields.
6. Community Standards And Illegal Content
You must follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, do not use the Service for illegal content or activity, child sexual exploitation or abuse, grooming, terrorism, credible threats, fraud, hate, harassment, pornography, encouragement of suicide or self-harm, malicious software, spam, impersonation, doxxing or infringement of another person's rights.
We use proportionate measures intended to reduce illegal and harmful content, including:
- age and audience controls;
- local automated checks before new free-form content is published;
- a further automated review of eligible content by a specialist provider;
- contextual reporting, blocking and Crowd-level controls;
- human review of supported reports and platform actions; and
- warning, restriction, removal, suspension and appeal processes.
These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that every item is identified immediately. We do not monitor every Crowd, message or report continuously.
7. Reporting, Complaints And Appeals
Use the contextual Report action where it is available. Public reports require sign-in but do not require joining the Crowd. A report asks for review against the Community Guidelines and does not guarantee removal or a particular outcome. Reporters can view the supported status and minimum outcome in Settings > Safety > Reports you have submitted and, where offered, request platform review within the period shown.
If CrowdWrangler takes a platform action directly against your account or content, we provide a notice in Settings > Safety > Actions on your account. Supported actions may be appealed once within 30 days of the first action notice. An authorised human reviews the appeal.
For a complaint about our reporting, moderation or appeal process, email support@crowdwrangler.com. Support and platform review are not monitored continuously and we do not promise a specific response time.
Reporting is not an emergency channel. If somebody may be in danger or needs specialist help, seek appropriate independent help and do not wait for a reply from CrowdWrangler.
8. Technical Acceptable Use
You must not:
- access or attempt to access accounts, data or systems without permission;
- bypass authentication, App Check, age, audience, privacy, blocking, moderation, rate-limit or other security controls;
- introduce malware or use the Service to attack another system;
- scrape, harvest or automate access except through an interface and permission we expressly provide;
- probe for vulnerabilities in a way that could harm users or the Service;
- interfere with availability or place an unreasonable load on the Service; or
- use Service data to profile, identify, contact or discriminate against people in a way they would not reasonably expect.
9. Moderation And Enforcement
New or edited free-form content can be blocked before publication if local automated checks flag it or the required check is unavailable. Eligible content that passes may be analysed later by an external automated moderation provider. A later flag can hide, remove or restore the affected version. Automated results can be incomplete or wrong and do not by themselves impose an account suspension.
We may warn a user, limit a feature, remove or quarantine content, restrict a person within a Crowd, suspend an account or terminate access where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law or protect the Service. We take account of context, severity, repetition, risk and available evidence. Urgent or legally required action may occur before notice. Where the implemented process supports it, we provide reasons and a review or appeal route.
10. Intellectual Property
IPEVENTS LIMITED and its licensors own the Service, software, branding, documentation and other materials they provide, excluding Your Content. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.
If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, email support@crowdwrangler.com and identify the work, the relevant content, where it appears, your contact details and why you believe the use is not authorised.
If you send feedback or suggestions, we may use them without payment or an obligation to implement them. Do not include confidential information in feedback.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on external providers for functions such as authentication, app distribution, notifications, maps, email, hosting and automated content moderation. A link or integration does not make CrowdWrangler responsible for a third party's separate service. Their terms and privacy information may also apply when you interact directly with them.
Venue information and navigation links describe event locations; they are not live tracking. An eligible adult can choose to use device location for a search or venue-selection action. Opening a map or event does not by itself authorise continuous device-location access.
12. Changes, Availability And Ending Use
We may improve, change, suspend or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice where a change materially reduces the Service or affects accepted policy terms, unless urgent security, safety or legal action makes advance notice impractical.
The Service may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance, faults, network conditions or third-party systems. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
You can stop using CrowdWrangler at any time. Account deletion is available in the app and at https://app.crowdwrangler.com/account-deletion. If you are the sole owner of a Crowd, you must choose an eligible existing administrator to receive ownership or dissolve that Crowd. A Family continues under another eligible manager or is dissolved if none remains. The Privacy Policy explains deletion, limited retained evidence and backup expiry.
We may end an inactive account under the published retention process after warning, except where unresolved ownership prevents automatic deletion.
13. Consumer Rights And Responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. In particular, nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that law does not permit us to exclude.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for a loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for something outside our reasonable control, or for business losses arising from consumer use. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
If you use the Service wholly or mainly for business purposes, then, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity or goodwill. This does not affect liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You remain responsible for your own real-world activities, decisions and legal obligations. CrowdWrangler does not organise, supervise, insure or guarantee a Crowd or event merely because it is listed in the Service.
14. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, risks or law changes. A material update receives a new version and will be presented for acceptance where appropriate. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory local law and may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem informally.
